As the name suggests, a Hitofude Dragon is a dragon whose body is drawn with a single brushstroke, without interruption, while wishes and prayers are imbued into it. It is believed to bring 'uninterrupted prosperity and financial luck,' 'uninterrupted good relationships and growth, connecting people,' and 'continuous protection and safety.' For approximately 400 years, from the Edo period (1603-) to the present, these dragons have been revered and treasured as dragon gods due to their strong divine protection and benefits, and have been continuously wished for, believed in, and passed down.

Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he continues to paint dragons. Influenced by the spirit of the Japanese Way, which he learned during his 14 years of Karate-do from age 6, he encountered "Hitofude-ryu" (One-Stroke Dragon), a technique passed down through the ages. Deeply moved by its origins and history, he believed it to be his destiny and mastered the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of one-stroke dragons that has continued since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of "shu-ha-ri" (learn, break, transcend).
He is one of only three one-stroke dragon artists in Japan. Although he is from Fukuoka Prefecture, a series of coincidences and predestined connections led him to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the thousand-year-old capital where dragon deities are said to reside.

Kyoto has been considered a place of power for Dragon Gods residing in dragon caves and dragon veins for over 1,000 years. Many shrines and temples associated with dragons exist here, and pilgrimages to Dragon Gods have been popular from ancient times to the present day.

Japan has long been regarded as a mysterious country where dragons reside, and dragons have been considered messengers of the gods or even gods themselves. Many shrines, temples, myths, and legends revere dragons as dragon gods, and they are seen as symbols of "prosperity" and "protection".
